We’ve just bought a Porsche Macan from Mark at Altus Cars, and the whole experience was highly positive. From the very first call, Mark was relaxed, patient, and never rushed. He answered every question I had and took the time to talk me through the full history of the vehicle before I’d even arranged a viewing. That level of care immediately put my mind at ease. Mark kindly accommodated us with a weekend viewing, which we really appreciated. We travelled around an hour to get to Altus, when we arrived, the viewing became a simple formality, everything Mark had described was right on point. The car was clearly a high end, well looked after example, and Mark gave us all the space and time we needed to look it over properly. Every detail had been taken care of. The car was fully prepared and ready to drive away, with the services Mark offers, we were able to tax and insure it on the spot. Being able to take the car home the same day was a brilliant touch and saved us a return trip. We were also provided with a high-end comprehensive warranty with 30 days of breakdown cover, which added even more peace of mind. I’m genuinely glad we found Altus Cars. Mark is highly experienced, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. He clearly does his homework on every vehicle, which means you can buy with complete confidence. Moreover than feeling able to recommend Altus Cars to family and friends, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Mark again! A Professioal Owner with fantastic vehicles for sale who goes the extra mil

Mark was welcoming, picked me up from a long train journey. Mark was kind enough to make me a Coffee, he is not the typical car dealer who is quick just to talk about the 2018 Sport I purchased as he had 3 Dogs that were protective but wanted my attention & his Rottweiler always won. Mark is a professional car seller/dealer who sells vehicles that he wouldn't be happy to own himself. He takes alot of pride in what he does & goes the extra mile to make sure if he is happy with the vehicle then the customer will be happy. Mark doesn't talk BS & what he writes to describe his vehicles is 100% accurate. If customers are looking for a vehicle & Mark has one up for Sale, my strong suggestion is to call ASAP as the vehicle will sell quickly. An important note that I wish to add is the 5 Star Ratings & nothing below 5 Stars, I gave 5 Stars due to Mark being honest & truthful & the Range Rover Sport being exactly described & more. If you see a vehicle for Sale at ALTUS CARS dont wait too long, it will sell quickly.

Honest service, no pressure and a warranty that came through

I purchased a 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line Tech from Mark in November last year. On the day, Mark had two Tiguans prepared for myself and my partner to view, both valeted and in excellent condition. He gave us a clear overview of the vehicles and allowed us plenty of time and space to inspect them without any sales pressure, which we really appreciated. After a test drive, we were confident in our choice and decided to go ahead with the purchase. We experienced a few delays with getting our funds in order and arranging insurance, but Mark was incredibly patient and supportive throughout the process. He even recommended a temporary insurance solution, which worked perfectly. The car also came with a six-month Platinum WSG warranty, which gave us added peace of mind. About a month later, we encountered an issue with the auto-locking feature after enabling it. It’s likely something that was missed during Mark's initial checks, but thankfully it was covered by the warranty – saving us what would have been a very costly repair. Overall, it was a smooth and positive experience buying from a private dealer. I’d happily recommend Mark to others.

Great and friendly service

Buying a car from Altus Cars was an extremely straight forward and easy process that was an all round great experience. Mark was very helpful and answered any questions in detail and promptly. The car was exactly as described, it was clean and tidy, and he went to the extra effort of having the alloys properly cleaned and prepared so they looked like new. Hopefully I won't need to for a while as I'm very happy with my purchase, but I would certainly buy from Altus Cars (Mark) again.

Great seller to deal with.

Mark at Altus was great to deal with, he did everything as asked and on time and kept in touch when getting the car ready for collection. He picked my son and myself up from the station as he said he would and on time. He had all the paperwork done promptly and generally tried to make me feel at ease. Now 2 weeks on still enjoying my purchase.
